The X-Coating™ treatment moves a step ahead compared with the ceramic liquid coatings. It is a revolutionary color coating. It features all the reliability and durability of ceramic coating, but it also augments the duration rate of the coating itself. Thanks to the extra flexibility of this Xenios USA proprietary blend of liquid coating, the color finishing layer goes on the steel like skin. This durable coating is a perfect way to have the bar rust-free for longer, without having to use any galvanic process as an underneath layer. In order to have an even higher resistance of the finishing on the sleeves of the Xenios USA XKOT Shielded – Black Rod Pro-Training Bar they are finished using an already-tested QPQ process. The QPQ process is a high-temp salt-melted process that gives the steel an extra surface hardness. The QPQ steel surfaces can’t be scratched or dented. Sleeves do not need to be as springy as the shaft does.
