Functional training equipment

Functional training is a general term for training methods that differ from traditional strength training by focusing on complex movement patterns. It aims to extend classical strength training with new aspects, resulting in a holistic strength training program. Functional training can use a wide range of gym equipment, including kettlebells and chin-up bars, exercise bands, balance pads and other unstable platforms, plyoboxes, ankle and wrist weights, med balls and many others.
